Pascal Marchet received M.Sc. degree in chemistry in 1988 and obtained the Ph.D. degree in Ceramic Materials and Surface Treatments from the University of Limoges in 1992. From 1993 to 2004, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Limoges and became associate professor in 2004 in the same university. His current research topics are devoted to lead-free piezoelectric – ferroelectric materials and particularly to structure – microstructure -properties relationships for bulk or thin/thick films materials. He organized the Electroceramics XV meeting in Limoges in 2016. He is member of the French Ceramic Group and European Ceramic Society, and coordinator of the E-CerS Electroceramics network. He received the fellowship of E-CerS in 2019, is author or co-author of around 80 papers and participated to several ANR national projects in the field of lead-free piezoelectric materials.
