Marco Deluca is Key Scientist and Deputy Group Leader in the Sensors Solutions Group at the Materials for Microelectronics Department of the Materials Center Leoben Forschung GmbH (MCL) and a Lecturer in the Materials Science Department of the Montanuniversitaet Leoben (Leoben, Austria). He received a Master in Chemical Engineering (2004) from the University of Trieste (Italy), a Ph. D. in Materials Science (2009) from Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan), and habilitated (2016) in the field of Materials Science at the Montanuniversitaet Leoben. At MCL he leads the Functional Materials Team, which designs and develops advanced materials for energy solutions in sensors – mainly on perovskite basis – based on strong knowledge of the structure-property relationships in this class of materials.
